Two women rushed to hospital after being ‘struck by car’ near Glasgow retail park as cops make arrest
A 22-year-old woman suffered serious injuries and a 26-year-old woman suffered a minor injury.
Both were rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
A 44-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the alleged incident.
Cops are appealing for anyone with information to get in touch.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of a collision involving a car and two pedestrians on Great Western Road in Glasgow around 1.20am on Sunday, 3 October.
“The incident happened near a service station approximately 300m east of the roundabout junction with Drumry Road.
“A 22-year-old woman suffered serious injuries and a 26-year-old woman suffered a minor injury.
“Both were taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
“A 44-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing.
“Anyone with information relating to the crash can call 101, quoting incident 0291 of 3 October.”
