Police car smashes into traffic light outside Glasgow’s High Court

Photos showed the damaged cop vehicle on the city’s Saltmarket, outside Police Scotland’s lost property office.

The motor appeared to have destroyed a crossing light on the busy city centre street.

Pics showed the light’s pole bent over to the side after the collision.

Several cops could be seen standing guard in the area following the crash.

Police Scotland has been contacted for comment by The Scottish Sun.

It comes as officers were called to an ongoing disturbance on another city centre street in Glasgow.

Police are currently at the scene in Renfrew Street after the alarm was raised at around 3.50pm.
