Glasgow construction worker in hospital after ‘being crushed by digger’
The Daily Record reports that the man, 42, was crushed beneath a piece of machinery used as part of the ongoing roadworks in the area.
And that member sof the public raced to help him after the incident.
Cops say that he was rushed to hospital for treatment.
But his condition isn’t known.
“Folk were getting out of their vans and there must have been about 15 to 20 of us in total.
“We moved the digger off him and the ambulance was called.
“It was a big incident with a load of ambulances and the paramedics were fantastic with him.”
“Emergency services attended and the 42 year-old man was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary.
“The Health and Safety Executive has been informed.”
The Health and Safety Executive has been approached for information by the Scottish Sun.
