AC Milan sporting director Leonardo has revealed the Italian club have not received an offer from Chelsea for Gonzalo Higuain.

The Argentine striker has been heavily linked with a move to Chelsea in recent weeks as the Blues look to strengthen their strike force due to Alvaro Moratas continued mediocre performances.

It is difficult to manage a striker when he doesnt score. Higuain must find the real himself, he is living in a different situation for him, he left Juventus and he is here on loan.

He is very important for us and he knows it.

It remains to be seen whether Higuain will be a Chelsea player by the end of the January transfer window, but its reported he wants to re-join old manager Maurizio Sarri at Stamford Bridge.
