Jose Mourinho hints he is ready to sign new contract at Manchester United
It was reported this week that Mourinho had signed a new deal to extend his stay at the club, and boost his current salary.
Mourinho’s current deal expires next summer and United have been keen to fend off interest from Paris Saint-Germain, who reportedly approached the 54-year-old earlier in the season.
Speaking ahead of United’s Premier League clash with Burnley on Saturday, Mourinho refused to confirm he had put pen to paper on a new deal, but hinted he soon would.
He said: ‘My contract ends July 2019, so plenty of time to speak. I know that the club is happy and the owners, the board are happy.

‘They know I’m happy and when that’s the case, when one day we decide to do something, we’ll do it easily, but plenty of time.’
Mourinho has helped United break back into the top four of the league, and the club currently sit second in table.
United are still several strides behind Manchester City, but this season has been a significant improvement on the sixth place finish the Red Devils managed last campaign.
Mourinho has spent big since arriving at Old Trafford 19 months ago and is about to add another expensive player to his ranks.
Alexis Sanchez has agreed to join from Arsenal and United are close to officially announcing the deal.
The signing of Sanchez will be seen as quite the coup from United, who saw off competition from City to secure the Chilean’s signature.
