Tottenham welcome AFC Wimbledon to Wembley in the third round of the FA Cup.

It will be the first time the sides will have met since the club’s rebirth and the Dons will be prepared to take on Spurs after they beat Lincoln City and Charlton Athletic to make it to this stage of the competition.

Spurs will most likely be resting key players like Harry Kane, Christian Eriksen and Jan Vertonghen after a busy festive period, which saw them draw against West Ham in their last fixture.

The FA Cup represents Tottenham’s best chance of winning a trophy for the first time since 2008.

The game takes place on Sunday 7 January.

The match will be held at Wembley Stadium.

Harry Winks, Erik Lamela, Fernando Llorente and Victor Wanyama, could start for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
