Atletico Madrid will allow Arsenal and Chelsea transfer target Yannick Carrasco leave in January

Diego Simeone has instructed Atletico Madrid to sell Yannick Carrasco in the January transfer window, according to reports in Spain.
The 24-year-old winger has played an instrumental role in the Spanish side’s success in recent years but has been involved in a number of high-profile bust-ups over the course of the last year.
According to AS, Carrasco was reported to have fallen out with teammates Koke and Gabi, as well as the club’s fitness coach Oscar Ortega and Simeone is reluctantly ready to call time on the former Monaco forward’s time at the Wanda Metropolitano.

Atletico were barred from signing players in the summer after being found guilty of a number of transfer irregularities but have already agreed deals for former Chelsea striker Diego Costa and Las Palmas winger Vitolo, both of whom will be eligible to play from next month.
Carraso was linked with a move to Arsenal in the summer having reportedly been identified as a potential replacement for Alexis Sanchez, while Chelsea are also said to be among his admirers.
Should the Premier League giants reignite their interest in Carrasco, they are likely to face competition from Bayern Munich who are scouring the market for players to succeed Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery.
